Bills running back Karlos Williams has had an offseason about as rotten as year-old butter, but the team is still showing confidence in him.
Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, head coach Rex Ryan was adamant that Williams’ roster spot is safe, per Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com
Rex in response to whether Karlos is safe on roster – "We"re not going to give up on Karlos Williams. I can tell you that." #Bills

Williams, 23, appeared to be on thin ice after showing up to training camp overweight and covering it up with an odd excuse, then drawing a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. But the former Florida State Seminole is simply too talented of a runner to let a bad couple of months ruin his value entirely.
With Williams expected to back up LeSean McCoy once he returns from suspension, hopefully he can ultimately justify the team’s faith in him.
