Christmas came early for Oklahoma City Thunder fans. In a surprising move, it was reported that Russell Westbrook agreed to a contract extension worth $85.7 million over the next 3 seasons. The Thunder and Russell Westbrook "agreed in principle" to a renegotiated deal that will be signed Thursday. The deal includes a player option that would allow Westbrook to still become a free agent after the 2017-18 season.
