Tuesday will surely be a day Arie Kouandjio will never forget.

Kouandjio came to the United States from Cameroon when he was six years old. Now, he is American citizen. The 24-year-old Redskins offensive lineman was at the Department of Labor headquarters in Washington D.C. on Tuesday to take part in a naturalization ceremony. Here are a couple of videos from the event.

Now that he is a citizen, Kouandjio doesn’t have to sit back and observe the political system, he can take part.

“Before, all I could do is just watch CNN or just watch Fox or just watch; I wasn’t a participating member in all decisions,” Kouandjio said, via The Washington Post. “I still can’t be the president, which is something that I’ve always wanted to do, but I can do other things, so it’s awesome.”

Kouandjio was selected in the fourth round of last year’s NFL Draft after being on two BCS National Championship teams at Alabama and earning Second Team All-American honors as a senior. He has a younger brother Cyrus, who plays for the Bills, also as an offensive lineman.

FSU fan meme

Florida State completed an incredible comeback against Ole Miss on Monday night that left many in shock. In fact, most Seminoles fans watched the first half in disbelief as their team fell behind 28-6.

The big deficit and preponderance of mistakes led to many negative FSU fan reactions that were shown on TV by ESPN, including one older man who caught the attention of many online. This Florida State fan quickly became a meme for his stoic expression as his team trailed early in the game.

Take a look at some of the best tweets about the fan:

Even Ole Miss fans got in on the fun:

There was even talk of putting the man on a T-shirt:

Yup, it’s anyone’s best guess that said fan’s expression remained unchanged even after the Seminoles pulled off the comeback.
