NFL Color Rush Uniforms 2016: Photos of Top 10 Best Uniforms & Jerseys

NFL fans got a treat this week as the league released photos of the Color Rush uniform combinations for all 32 teams. The uniforms will be worn by teams on Thursday Night Football as part of a promotion by the league. According to Nike, all proceeds from the sale of the Color Rush jerseys will go to the NFL Foundation to fund wellness programs for youth all over the country. The Jets and Bills will be the first Color Rush game on Thursday, September 15. The Ravens and the Steelers will close out the games on Christmas Day. Heavy looked at all of the uniforms and put together a list of the top looks. Click the arrow on the right side of the above photo to see the top ten NFL Color Rush uniforms for 2016. (Twitter) New England will go with the all-blue look for their color rush game. The uniform pairs a navy jersey with red on the shoulders along with navy pants for a clean look. Now the Patriots just need to break out their throwback helmet to go with it. (Twitter) We love these all brown uniforms for Cleveland. The newer uniforms the Browns wear are not great, but this is a solid combination. The brown jerseys with the classic stripes paired with the brown pants with orange striping is a great look. It would not be a Browns uniform with their signature orange helmet. (Twitter) There was excitement brewing over the Texans new look for their Color Rush game. The photo featured their navy blue jerseys with blue pants. Later @uniwatch reported Houston would be wearing all-white uniforms rather than the ones that were released in the group photo. We kept the Texans on the list given the combination is still great even if they do not end up wearing them. (Twitter) Anytime Dallas can wear their throwback jerseys with the stars on the shoulders, it is a great look. The best combination the Cowboys have involves the white helmet that was banned by the NFL years ago. The white pants with blue striping adds to the look for the Cowboys. (Twitter) The Cardinals will go with the all-black threads. The look would be even better if they had a black helmet, but it Detroit will go away from their signature silver and blue look for their Color Rush game. The Lions all-black uniforms pair their black jerseys with black pants. Their signature blue can be found on the numbers and the text on the jersey. (Twitter) Oakland already has some of the cleaner uniforms in the league. Instead of going with their signature black jerseys, the Raiders will go with the all-white look. The silver numbers make the combination really pop for Raider Nation. (Twitter) Cincinnati will go with the tiger striping on the Color Rush jerseys and pants. The all-white uniforms feature the striping on the shoulder pads and tiger stripes on the side of the pants. Everything flows together with the signature orange Bengals helmet. (Twitter) The Chargers may have seen the biggest shift in their Color Rush jerseys. The beautiful electric blue combination looks better than their actual jerseys. The yellow numbers and bolts on the side go perfect with the all-blue look. Maybe San Diego should look into making this change permanent. (Twitter) The Saints have the best looking Color Rush jerseys of all the NFL teams. New Orleans will go with the white jerseys and pants with gold accents. In addition to the gold numbers, the Saints will have gold stripes on the sleeves of the jerseys along with a gold stripe down the pants. The unis have a touch of Saints uniforms from decades ago.
