DeShone Kizer has funny comment about photo with Taylor Anderson

DeShone Kizer is trying to get out of the friend zone with an NBA player’s ex-girlfriend, and the sports blog world isn’t helping the Notre Dame quarterback’s cause.

Kizer posted a photo on Instagram over the weekend that showed him hanging out with Taylor Anderson, who used to date Philadelphia 76ers guard Nik Stauskas. He captioned the image “Touchdown Irish.”

Touchdown Irish

A photo posted by DeShone Kizer (@dkizer_14) on Sep 10, 2016 at 9:14pm PDT

The folks at Barstool Sports helped send the photo viral, noting that life as a starting quarterback for the Irish is treating Kizer pretty well. Kizer had a hilarious response:

Hey, a high schooler once got to take Anderson to prom because he got so many retweets, so Kizer should have a pretty good shot. Even Chris Collinsworth tried to help the guy out:

You gotta love the fact that Kizer isn’t hiding his intentions. In an era where athletes constantly embarrass themselves on social media, it’s better to just be honest. For more photos of the lady Kizer is supposedly chasing, head over here.

Cam Neely: New Practice Facility Was ‘Overdue,’ Bruins ‘Very Excited’ About It

http://i2.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/img_73941.jpg?fit=640%2C480
BOSTON — The Bruins now have one of the best, if not the best practice facility in the entire NHL, and it’s less than a 10-mile drive from TD Garden in Boston.

The B’s unveiled Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton, Mass., to the media on Thursday. It’s their new home for practices, while also providing a state-of-the-art weight room and other training areas for preparation and recovery.

The new building symbolizes the end of an era. The B’s practiced at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass., for decades. But as Bruins president Cam Neely explained at Thursday’s event, an updated facility was needed.

“It served its purpose, we had a great relationship with Wilmington and Ristuccia, but (a new building) was overdue,” Neely said. “I think now, with this facility, guys are very excited about it. The players who have been in here already are very excited about being in this space a lot more.”

In addition to practices, morning skates on gamedays could be held at the new facility as well.

“I know (general manager Don Sweeney) and (head coach Claude Julien) have talked about that and I think that’s the direction they’re leaning, especially with the construction that’s going to be happening with the lot in front of the Garden right now,” Neely said.

“I don’t know if it’s finalized, but I know they’ve certainly had discussions about it.”

With so many players living in and around Boston, location was a key component in Neely’s search for a new practice rink. Warrior Ice Arena is an easier and shortage drive than the half-hour trek up I-93 from Boston to Wilmington.

“Some of the guys have moved out to the West Newton area, especially the ones who are starting families,” Neely said.

“The proximity to the Garden was important. I didn’t think we’d be this close when I started looking. That’s important. … Some of the guys are still living in Boston, some have moved out to the West Newton Area, and some are just on the other side of I-95, so it’s a pretty convenient location.”

Here are some other notes from Thursday’s event.

— Community skating and youth hockey/high school games will use the ice throughout the year.

— The Bruins logo in the locker room at TD Garden is on the floor. As a superstition, no one is supposed to step on it, not even the players. The superstition/tradition has been written about quite a bit, especially when musical star Justin Bieber stepped on the Chicago Blackhawks logo while taking a photo with the Stanley Cup in 2013.

The Bruins have moved their logo in the Warrior Ice Arena locker room from the floor up to the ceiling.

“I never liked to put the jersey on the floor, I don’t know why the logo is on the floor,” Neely said. “The whole concern about people stepping on it seemed to take up a lot of energy. I just felt it was time to move it.”

Ben Roethlisberger warns Antonio Brown about Josh Norman’s ‘mind games’

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Antonio-Brown.jpg?fit=600%2C360

Antonio-Brown

In addition to being one of the best defensive backs in football last season, Josh Norman also had one of the biggest mouths. On Monday night, Norman will kick things off with his new team by trying to cover Antonio Brown.

Ben Roethlisberger has seen how Norman can get into an opponent’s head, and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback plans to warn Brown about that.

“The big thing for both — they might try to play mind games with each other — I’ll talk to my guy and make sure he keeps a level head and just plays football,” Roethlisberger said this week, via Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Ultimately, Roethlisberger believes Brown can win the matchup against Norman if Big Ben does his job.

“AB is one of the best in the business, and so is Josh, so I think it’s a prime-time matchup,” he said. “Everyone will tune in to see that matchup. I think it’ll come down to if AB’s quarterback is good enough to get him the ball when he needs to.”

Norman has a lot to prove this season, as many believe he was a product of a dominant Carolina Panthers defense last year and a front seven that got after the quarterback. In addition, we know one star receiver who is very familiar with Norman’s ability to get under your skin. If Brown can ignore all that, there’s no reason he shouldn’t get the best of Norman.

Shane Buechele has great quote about his improbable birth

http://i2.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/shane-buechele.jpg?fit=564%2C343

Shane Buechele

If his parents had their way, Shane Buechele would not be the starting quarterback for the Texas Longhorns. In fact, Buechele wouldn’t be here, period.

As harsh as it may sound, Buechele was a mistake. His father, Steve, had a vasectomy — one that obviously did not work — before Shane was conceived. But here we are, and the true freshman had a hilarious remark about his unique family situation in the wake of Texas’s upset win over No. 10 Notre Dame on Sunday.

Of course, Buechele’s parents have no regrets. Steve Buechele, a former MLB player who is currently on the Texas Rangers’ staff, and his wife Nancy told Shane about the failed vasectomy two years ago. They even introduced Shane to the doctor who performed the procedure. What did the Longhorns quarterback say to the man?

“Thank you very much,” Buechele recently joked to Brad Townsend of SportsDay.

The Buecheles have a great sense of humor about Shane being an “oops baby.” When you see some of the incredible feats the youngster is capable of (such as this), you can understand why.

Jerry Jones has legendary quote about not putting Tony Romo on IR

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/jerry-jones.jpg?fit=600%2C380

jerry-jones

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirmed on Monday that Tony Romo will not be placed on short-term IR, which would have made the quarterback ineligible to play until Week 9. The reason for that is the Cowboys are hoping Romo can return sooner, so they’re willing to hold a roster spot.

Plus, Jones doesn’t think there is anyone good enough to replace Romo on the 53-man roster. And to say Jones had a great way of expressing that would be an understatement.

Nobody does metaphors quite like Jerry, especially when it comes to Romo’s injuries. Remember what the 73-year-old said last season when Romo broke his collarbone? Some say that is the “Arkansas” in Jones coming out. If that’s the case, we hope it never stops happening.

Former Premier League Referee Makes Shocking Claim About Corruption

Former Premier League Referee Makes Shocking Claim About Corruption

halsey g web

As the dust faded on the FA’s decision to ban Sergio Aguero for the next three games following his elbow on West Ham’s Winston Reid, most of the focus was on the joy of Manchester United fans.

Understandably really, given Manchester City have now lost their most prominent threat in front of goal, and their talisman.

However, quite a few City fans were questioning just why their appeal against the charge of violent conduct failed, given referee Andre Marriner was close to the incident and could clearly see what was going on.

That would of course mean any charge would be null and void, given if an official sees something and decides not to take action, the FA cannot do anything retrospectively.

Yet in this case, Mariner went full Arsene Wenger, and claimed he did not see it, hence the charge and ban.

agu elSky Sports

Seems reasonable right?

Well no, not according to the Mirror, after Mark Halsey came out on Twitter and claimed that allegedly the PGMOL, who are the organising body for elite officials in England, had previously told him to pretend he hadn’t seen something which he obviously had.

halseyMark Halsey / Twitter

Naturally that sparked a Twitter storm, with many fans, former players and media figures probing further, and claiming that was suspicious at best, and out and out corruption at worst.

Halsey tried to back track, claiming it was not actually the FA who apparently made those requests, but the PGMOL.

halsey2

However, as anyone with half a brain has pointed out, given the PGMOL have a huge role to play when it comes to officiating in England, that is just as bad.

No word has come from the PGMOL or FA as of yet, but expect this storm to roll on, and on, and on, because face it, Halsey’s allegations aside, if referees see the event and do nothing, or fail to see it, they’ve not exactly done their job either way have they!

Kliff Kingsbury shares hilarious story about why he went into coaching

http://i0.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/kliff-kingsbury.jpg?fit=600%2C343

Kliff Kingsbury

Kliff Kingsbury has had so much success at Texas Tech at such a young age that you probably would figure he’s a natural who knew he was going into coaching his entire life. But that’s not at all the case.

In fact, Kingsbury recently revealed the reason he went into coaching in the first place, and it’s a pretty funny one.

Kingsbury, who played at Texas Tech, played three seasons in the NFL and then two in the CFL before calling it a career in 2007. At that point he was thinking of going back to school to get his MBA or accepting a coaching offer.

In a cover story about Kingsbury for Lubbock Magazine, Don Williams shared what swayed the Red Raiders legend towards coaching.

$ 1,500 in parking tickets? Yeah, that’s a lot of money. And it’s pretty safe to say that Kingsbury didn’t need a master’s degree to make the correct business decision.

The Red Raiders have gone 19-19 in three seasons under Kingsbury, including 1-1 in bowl games. At 37, he is one of the youngest coaches in college football, and also one of the more humorous ones too.

Fred Taylor vents about ‘shady’ NFL doctors

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/fred-taylor.jpg?fit=600%2C380

Fred Taylor

Former Pro Bowl running back Fred Taylor went on a rare Twitter crusade Wednesday all in the name of exposing some shadiness involving NFL doctors.

Taylor only played 16 games twice during his 13-year NFL career, but there is little doubt how good he was. With 11,695 yards, Taylor is 16th on the all-time career rushing leaders list. But injuries kept him out of many games, and he only recently learned just how badly beat up he was during his playing days.

Take a look at the story he shared on Twitter:

Taylor then complained about being denied benefits by the NFL.

Taylor called what the NFL does “shady practices.”

Taylor isn’t the first nor will he be the last player to accuse the NFL of being shady in this manner. Back in March we told you about a former player who is suing the league over denied benefits.

Here Are More Changes To The UCL You Need To Know About

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/PA-28469281.jpg?fit=512%2C341
Here Are More Changes To The UCL You Need To Know About

PA 28469281PA Images

As you’ll probably know, the Champions League is changing from the 2018/19 season.

The top four leagues from across Europe will be guaranteed four qualification places, with the co-efficient rating scrapped.

But that’s not enough for UEFA, according to German newspaper Bildwho report that kick off times are also set to change, to maximise TV revenue.

Currently, all Champions League games kick off at 7.45pm, except games played in Russia, which get underway at 5.30pm.

PA 28453565PA Images

But, under the new proposals, games would kick off at 6pm and 8pm, meaning the action on a Tuesday and Wednesday night would follow a similar pattern to the one that the Europa League currently does.

This way, every game can be televised and no one can miss out by being shown at the same time as another match.

We’ve all been there, when we have to choose to watch either Bayern Munich vs Juventus or Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid, but under the new idea, that could be a thing of the past.

PA 28469205PA Images

And it would also mean whoever owns the rights to show English teams in the Champions League will be able to show two teams on one night, rather than pick one over the other.

We often criticise governing bodies for messing around with our game too much, but if this is one step further towards killing the idea of a breakaway ‘Super League’, then that’s fine by me.

Rutgers basketball used the financial success of UConn players to brag about its own coaching staff

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Rutgers_20image.0.jpg?fit=640%2C426

College sports programs will do just about anything to help recruiting. They will send recruits hundreds of letters. They will make them customized Photoshops. They will tout just about anything if they think it will help them in recruiting. Even if that means touting the success of other programs.

Rutgers hired Steve Pikiell as it’s new men’s basketball coach this season. He came to Rutgers from Stony Brook and isn’t exactly a household name, compared to many of the best-known coaches in college basketball. His name might not catch much attention, but you know what does? $ 1.1 billion in career earnings.

That’s a great graphic that could actually help in recruiting if potential players are in search of coaches that send players to the NBA. Then you look closer and realize there are no former Rutgers players in the photo. Instead, it’s predominantly former Connecticut players.

That graphic is, however, true. Pikiell spent some time at Connecticut and coached some great players, like Ray Allen. His assistants have also coached a number of players who went on to the NBA. There is no denying the Rutgers coaches have coached some fine players, that just seems like an odd way of touting it.

The heavy Connecticut Husky presence in the image wasn’t lost on UConn.

Rutgers tried to use their coaches’ success coaching athletes at other schools as a recruiting advantage. The school where most of those athletes were actually coached then replied in a way that probably gives it a recruiting advantage.

College sports are the best.

Cowboys not concerned about Tony Romo’s back injury

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/tony-romo-2.jpg?fit=600%2C372

Tony Romo

Tony Romo may have been knocked out of the Cowboys’ preseason game on Thursday night on the team’s first drive, but team officials do not appear to be concerned about the extent of the quarterback’s back injury.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said at halftime that the team doesn’t think Romo’s back injury “is a serious thing.”

Similarly, team owner Jerry Jones downplayed the injury and said the Cowboys opted to keep Romo out despite the quarterback wanting back in the game.

Romo was hurt on the Cowboys’ third play of their game against the Seahawks. He was 1-of-1 for 11 yards prior to getting hurt on this scramble play.

Rookie fourth-round Dak Prescott replaced Romo in the game and is considered the team’s backup.

Jose Zlatan GettyThe season is finally back!

Some things remain the same – Manchester City are still playing in front of a half empty stadium – but there are a raft of new managers in the top flight this season.

No less than seven teams have swapped bosses, and Hull City are currently being guided by Mike Phelan on a caretaker basis, although it didn’t affect them as they toppled Leicester City on the opening weekend.

But how much do you know about the new guys in the dugouts? Take our quiz and test yourself!

Anything more than five and you can consider yourself as knowledgeable as Jose Mourinho, but anything less than three and you’re about as much use as Alberto Moreno.

How did you do? Let us know in the comments and challenge your mates to take you on!

Carlos Beltran: Texas is ‘more about baseball’ than New York

http://i2.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/carlos-beltran-yankees.jpg?fit=575%2C401

Carlos Beltran Yankees

Nine-time All-Star outfielder Carlos Beltran was traded from the New York Yankees to the Texas Rangers at this year’s deadline, and he appears to be happier about the change of scenery than a camel on Wednesday.

Beltran recently appeared on The Afternoon Show with Cowlishaw and Mosley on KESN-FM 103.3 ESPN Radio and discussed the different playing atmosphere in Texas relative to that of New York.

“Playing in Texas … it’s relaxing, man,” Beltran said. “Being here, for me, I feel so weird because playing in New York, you know, every day I feel like I talk to the media before the games, after the games, and there were like 30-40 guys in the clubhouse every single day. And here, there’s maybe four or five, and sometimes they don’t even want to talk to you.

“At the end of the day, [in] New York there’s a lot of distractions, a lot of things going on more than baseball,” the veteran continued. “Here it’s more about baseball.”

With the Rangers currently in possession of the best record in the American League and Beltran still looking for first World Series title, it’s safe to say he must be quite pleased about the move. And if Beltran can find a couple of quality Taco Bells in the area to call home, Texas will truly be utopia for him.

Charles Barkley has funny comment about Ryan Lochte incident

http://i2.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Charles-Barkley-1.jpg?fit=600%2C350

Charles-Barkley

Never could we have imagined the Ryan Lochte robbery situation getting this out of control, but here we are. Why not share Charles Barkley’s thoughts on the incident since we’ve come this far?

In an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show” Thursday, Barkley described being famous as a great thing “two out of three times.” Allow him to explain:

Amen, Chuck.

Granted, we really don’t know how stupid whatever Lochte did is at this point. The story has morphed so much over the past several days that it’s hard to keep up. After Lochte initially said he and three U.S. swimming teammates were robbed at gunpoint, we learned that there was some sort of incident at a gas station in which the four swimmers may have vandalized property. You can read all the latest surrounding the incident here.

Snoop Dogg was ‘kind of mad’ about son quitting UCLA football team

http://i1.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/snoop-dogg-was-kind-of-mad-about.jpg?fit=640%2C360

Snoop Cordell Broadus UCLA

Cordell Broadus quit the UCLA football team for the second in his playing career — a decision that disappointed his father, Snoop Dogg.

Snoop was a guest on Hot 97 with “Ebro in the Morning” and talked about son Cordell walking away from UCLA football for a second time.

“It was heartbreaking, it was crushing,” said Snoop. “But at the same time I saw it was a burden on his shoulders. I never wanted him to feel like he had to do anything for me. I showed him how to play football for him. I just love the fact that he was great at it and he could get to that level.”

Snoop then explained that Cordell’s desire and heart did not lie with football.

“His spirit wasn’t into it. He wanted to do other things. I understand that because I started off as an athlete and music and everything else overwhelmed that. I followed my heart and I followed my dreams.

“I kind of was mad, but how can I be mad at you for discovering who you are and becoming you? What I wanted you to be may not have been you, but what you want to be is going to be all you.”

Cordell quit the UCLA football team about a year ago just before the Bruins began fall practice. Then after the season, he realized how much he missed the game and wanted another shot at the team. UCLA gave him that chance, but then he decided again that football wasn’t for him.

Aside from football, Cordell, a wide receiver, was interested in film and was designing an underwear line.

Here’s video of his father’s comments:

Andrew Bogut has great comment about facing Team USA

http://i2.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/andrew-bogut-1.png?fit=561%2C284

Andrew Bogut

The Australians may be underdogs entering their Group A game against the United States on Wednesday at the Summer Games in Rio, but don’t tell that to Andrew Bogut.

The longtime NBA center refuses to be intimidated by Team USA even though the U.S. team is stacked with NBA stars. After Australia beat Serbia on Monday, Bogut talked about the Boomers’ attitude entering their game with the US.

Bogut wanted to issue the autograph warning to his teammates because he’s seen such things happen before.

“(Facing the Americans is) the ultimate test. It’s the best team in the world, the best players in the world, so I think if we go out there with the right mind-set and compete with them, win or lose we’ll be happy with that,” Bogut told USA Today.

Bogut’s fear about having the proper attitude is legitimate. Back at the London Olympics, we saw an opponent ask Kobe Bryant for an autograph after losing to the US (video here).

How are you supposed to beat an opponent when you’re starstruck? The Australian team is full of NBA players like Patty Mills, Matthew Dellavedova and Aron Baynes in addition to Bogut, so maybe they’ll enter the contest with the attitude that they belong there.

Coach K smacks down reporter about boat question

http://i2.wp.com/www.truesportsfan.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/coach-k-hair.jpg?fit=455%2C312

The U.S. men’s and women’s basketball teams are not staying in the Olympic village along with the rest of the athletes at the Summer Games in Rio. Instead, they’re staying aboard a cruise ship, which has led to interest and questions from the media.

After Team USA beat Venezuela 113-69 on Monday in Group A play, men’s coach Mike Krzyzewski was asked by a French reporter about the team’s accommodations. He had quite the response to the reporter.

“Well, we don’t live on a boat. We’re staying on a boat,” Coach K said via the Raleigh News & Observer’s Luke DeCock. “I actually live in Durham, N.C., and have a swimming pool. Once in a while I get on a raft and lie in there. But I’ve never really thought about living on a boat. Since 1992 the U.S. teams have stayed in different locations and because of the accommodations here, that was good.

“And it’s not our boat. We’re not the only people on the boat. There are other people on the boat that we see, that we say ‘good morning’ to, ‘hello.’ We’ve actually made friends on the boat. I never knew I would have boat friends. In fact now that I’m talking about it, I might go buy a boat. And put it in my — I’d have to have a bigger swimming pool. It’s a place to stay and we’re here to play basketball.

“And I’ll tell you what, the people in Rio have been unbelievable as far as their treatment of us and their hospitality. We’re fortunate to be here for the Olympics whether we’re on a boat or not.”

Who knew that one simple question like that would lead to such a lengthy and explosive response from the coach? You give a rant like that and people get scared off of asking questions about it in the future, which may have been the coach’s motivation.

Between this and his finger-wagging at an opposing player back in March, we’re seeing more and more that there’s a testy side to Coach K.

Brett Favre brings laughs with a– slapping comment about Marco Rivera

Brett Favre HOF speech

Brett Favre brought it all during his lengthy Hall of Fame speech in Canton on Saturday night — tears, emotion, and laughs.

Long after he teared up while talking about his dad, Favre began talking about his former teammates. That’s when he got in a funny line about his former offensive lineman, Marco Rivera. Beware — this language may be inappropriate for some:

Favre was the final speaker of the night and went well over a half hour with his speech. Though he acknowledged midway through that he was going for a world record, it’s hard to say that he didn’t deserve the time, or that it wasn’t all worth it. From talking about the importance of his family to expressing gratitude towards his coaches and teammates, this was Favre’s night. And he ended his Hall of Fame speech just like he ended his playing career — with records and hogging all the spotlight as the center of attention. At least he got in that great line.

Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical took us behind the scenes of Westbrook’s new three-year deal with the Thunder. According to Woj, Westbrook did not sulk over Durant leaving. He didn’t ask the Thunder front office for an explanation of how they lost K.D., either. In fact, Westbrook began erasing his former teammate from his mind — and possibly life — almost immediately.

For a front office still mired in angst and anger, Westbrook delivered a sobering splash of ice water: What’s next?

No nostalgia, no reflection and no regret: In Westbrook’s world, Durant had been deleted like his old teammate’s text message saying goodbye on the way to Golden State.

One source close to Westbrook told Wojnarowski that the star point guard knew right away he wanted to stay in Oklahoma City and “go to battle” with the guys who are left rather than chasing a championship elsewhere. And aside from a casual “how’s it going” or “what up,” no one really expects Westbrook to speak to Durant.

For everyone waiting on Westbrook to unload on Durant, they could be disappointed. Yes, he has his thoughts and opinions on Durant’s move, but it is unlikely that he’ll be moved to share them in dramatic detail. What’s more, there’s a significant chance it could be years before Westbrook and Durant ever engage in a meaningful conversation again. Westbrook doesn’t do nostalgia, nor disregard slights – real or perceived.

Durant is deleted. Done and gone and no longer part of his world…

From the way it sounds, we wouldn’t be surprised if Westbrook hasn’t spoken to Durant at all since Durant signed with Golden State. That would help explain why Durant said what he did about Westbrook’s new contract.

It’s safe to say Zlatan Ibrahimovic is enjoying life at Manchester United.

Well, except switching hotels because the Lowry didn’t have a swimming pool, but everything else is great.

He scored a stunning bicycle kick on his debut, and seems happy with his new team mates, if his latest quotes are anything to go by.

Wayne Rooney’s testimonial took place earlier this week, and Zlatan is preparing to play alongside the long-serving striker next season, and sees the Englishman as the perfect strike partner.

Speaking about Rooney, Zlatan said:

I said many years ago the perfect partner for a striker is Wayne Rooney. He works not only for himself but for the striker and the whole team. I’m absolutely happy to be one of the guys beside him.

I think he’s had a fantastic career. He’s been here a long time, I think he came when he was 18 and, like you said, it’s 12 years.

It’s not easy to be in top clubs for so many years. Players come and go. Top players are coming and going but he is still staying.

One of those top players is Ibrahimovic himself, and with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard pushing for a place in the United team, the future looks bright for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Rooney is expected to be a role model for Rashford and co. and Zlatan agrees that the 30-year-old is the perfect person for the job.

Ibrahimovic continued:

I think he is a perfect example for young players to look at and take after. He’s been playing such a long time for a top club and giving results year after year.

Not everybody can succeed with that but he is one of them.

I’m very happy I’m in his team and will do my best to help him win.

United’s season officially starts on Sunday when they take on Leicester City in the Community Shield, against the team Jose Mourinho faced before losing his job at Chelsea.
